July 21, 2010Angel Locsin is currently enjoying her newly hailed status as the sexiest woman in this year’s FHM 100 Sexiest list. Her second stint at #1 wasn’t a mere coincidence. After wandering around the top 5 after the first time she took the top spot in 2005, we knew Angel has a definite fan base fighting hard for their idol to stay afloat. But aside from being awesomely sexy, what did Angel do to deserve this much-esteemed man-honor once again? We came up with 7 things our two-time winner did during the past year that prompted the FHM nation to catapult Angel to the top spot a second time.  1. During the chaos that followed typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, a lot of celebrities did the share. Angel here, reportedly donated over a half a million pesos worth of relief goods. Nominated late last year for her work in 2008�s Lobo, Angel arrived at the International Emmy Awards red carpet looking like a goddess in a white dress. She revealed that she has suitors but she is neither in a “meeting stage,” “getting to know better stage” or even a “texting stage.” She is enjoying a single life because she has more time for herself, her friends and her family. And at the moment she is happy being single! “It’s a choice for me. I’m 25 years old already and I won’t get into any relationship if I’m not ready. Last Sunday, Manzano admitted in Sunday talk show “The Buzz” that he would visit former sweetheart Locsin after the show for a "long overdue talk." The 2 ended their relationship last year and Locsin had been linked to vocalist Chito Miranda and to CNN Hero of the Year Efren Penaflorida. Manzano reportedly continues to court the actress. "Angel will always have a special place in my heart and I will always equate it to love," Manzano told Toni Gonzaga last Sunday. He, however, remained unsure on how long he'll wait for Locsin. During the premiere of his latest film "Hating Kapatid," where he played the love interest of Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo, Manzano refused to divulge what he and Locsin talked about on Sunday night. "Nakwento ko na ‘yon sa 'The Buzz,' iwan na natin doon. Kumabaga at least nasabi ko na ‘yon, kung ano man ang pagu-usapan, kung ano man ‘yon. Speaking of shooting, you’re now doing a new soap opera with Angel Locsin titled Immortal. How is working so far?It’s worth the wait. Angel is an ideal leading lady. She’s a smart actress and a genuinely nice person. I like how dedicated she is to her work. The creative and production staff and the rest of the cast are also great. I’m really enjoying. Our tapings would start so early and end early...the next day! But I’m not complaining.
