received this nice poem today from a good friend and would like to share to all my friends here ...
Friendship....
If one day you feel like crying.....call me I don't promise that I will make you laugh... But I can cry with you. If one day you feel like running away.... Don't be afraid to call me.. I don't promise to ask you to stop... But if I can run with you? If one day you don't want to listen to anyone... Call me, I promise to be there for yoy But also promise to remain quiet. But one day if you call me And there is no answer....Come fast to see me Perhaps I need you! Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them and tell new ones you never will! Remember, everyone needs a friend...don't leave the one you love for the one you like. "I LOVE U MY FRIEND"[/i]

On Line Friends
The true friends who we meet online are a very special kind They pierce your shields and see within the corners of your mind They're always there when you're in need with their power to discern They feel your pain...........they offer hope and genuine concern We bare our souls, expose our hearts and show our inner fears and then before you know it the keyboard's stained with tears And if we could see them through that screen then no one could deny that to be a TRUE online friend they too must surely cry. When You're Sad When you are sad I will dry your tears When you are scared I will comfort your fears When you are worried I will give you hope When you are confused I will help you cope and when you are lost and can't see the light I shall be your beacon shining ever so bright This is my oath I pledge till the end Why you may ask because you're a friend. In a friendship We're free to expose, Parts of ourselves Nobody else knows. But the thing that sustains it And sets it apart, Is not something spoken It's a bond of the heart. True friends are rare In a lifetime two or three, I'm so glad it happened Between you and me!

Walk With Me
If you have learned to walk A little more sure-footedly than I, Be patient with my stumbling then And know that only as I do my best and try May I attain the goal For which we both are striving.
If through experience, your soul Has gained heights which I As yet in dim-lit vision see, Hold out your hand and point the way, Lest from its straightness I should stray, And walk a mile with me.From the book, Taking Time For Friends. The author is unknown.

God's Garden THE Lord God planted a garden In the first white days of the world, And He set there an angel warden In a garment of light enfurled.
So near to the peace of Heaven, That the hawk might nest with the wren, For there in the cool of the even God walked with the first of men.
And I dream that these garden-closes With their shade and their sun-flecked sod And their lilies and bowers of roses, Were laid by the hand of God.
The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth,-- One is nearer God's heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth.
For He broke it for us in a garden Under the olive-trees Where the angel of strength was the warden And the soul of the world found ease.- Dorothy Frances Gurney -

If I Could...
If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you And share with you its beauty On the days you're feeling blue. If I could build a mountain You could call your very own A place to find serenity A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea But all these things I'm finding Are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair But let me be what I know best: A friend that's always there. Author Unknown

True Friends You find them around When you are in need They will give of themselves Regardless of deed
They're around when your happy And when you are sad Your mood makes no difference They make you feel glad
You seldom know, who they may be Unless you're having trouble But when you need them, you will see True ones come on the double
They come to lend a helping hand Whether skys be gloomy or sunny Then there are times, when you are down They'll say things that are funny
The true ones last a long, long time And always seem to be there Still there are those that come but once These "False Ones" really don't care
You'll find through life, that there are many "Fair Weather", "False", and "True" But never forget, if you would have any You must first be a "True Friend" too.

I'll Be Here I cannot ease your aching heart, Nor take your pain away; But let me stay and take your hand And walk with you today.
I'll listen when you need to talk, I'll wipe away your tears; I'll share your worries when they come, I'll help you face your fears.
I'm here and I will stand by you, On each hill you have to climb; So take my hand, let's face the world... And live just one day at a time.
You're not alone, for I'm still here, I'll go that extra mile; And when your grief is easier, I'll help you learn to smile!

Too True, Too Often
Too often we don't realize What we have until it is gone Too often we wait too late to say "I'm sorry - I was wrong." Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones We hold dearest to our hearts And we allow foolish things To tear our lives apart. Far too many times we let Unimportant things into our minds And then it's usually too late To see what made us blind. So be sure that you let people know How much they mean to you Take that time to say the words Before your time is through. Be sure that you appreciate Everything you've got And be thankful for the little things in life that mean a lot. - Author Unknown

Can we post something we made on our own? Here's one:
This isn't my best but I wrote this way way before... Wala lang... Past na ito ha... Take note... past... hehe... Comments will be appreciated... Bear in mind though that I was in HS and very naive... stupid too... when this was written... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I regret...
I regret being bored that day being unable to do anything except rely on cyberspace for a piece of sanity and entertainment.
I regret stumbling upon you your incessant boredom your sadistic humor and your indelible pain.
I regret the fact that we did blend and mesh well That I don't have to hide behind a cloak For you to see my entirety.
I regret being born in a world Where oceans and continents spell a painful distance A distance that makes the future bleak And togetherness barely an inch away from being unattainable.
I regret continuously succumbing to this madness This certain madness That I welcomed wholeheartedly And undeniably, it did consume me.
I regret my cowardly silence My having thoughts that talked about taking chances and risking certainty That I kept locked within the depths of my being.
I regretted a lot of things Ever since that boring day But until today I regret Still feeling the same way

Depressing things I wrote:
Muted
With crimson blood mixed with tears Her agony disappears She floats out of her skin As silence starts to creep in…
Suddenly a piercing scream Woke everyone out of their dream Rushing footsteps everywhere Cries of terror fill the air
Amidst the noise, haste and confusion A barrage of questions came in succession The why, the how and the what for Where was all this, when she needed them before?
================================================ To my dearest <bleep>,
There are many things you do not know about me Remember the times I told you I missed you? You may think Im only saying it for the sake of saying it Or perhaps you do know how much I meant Every single word of that claim... But are you aware of the hours I spend foolishly waiting, For that sound that would signal your presence? Do you even know the number of instances I tried to force the hands of my desk clock To turn into the hour of your return? Will you understand the sometimes-unbearable agony Generated by your casual, nonchalant 'good nights'? That though I tell you I have no problems seeing you go I secretly and desperately want you to stay
<bleep>, I tell you a lot of things From the melodrama of my life To the mundane things I do You have been given an access to my insides You can locate the scars of my heart You can even predict my brain's next moves But why cant you feel That I too want you to share these things with me? Every aspect of you is important to me <bleep> I wanna know every detail of your life Tell me about the person who first broke your heart Tell me about the things that make you happy or sad Tell me about your fears and all your worries... I wanna know <bleep>, I wanna know everything...
And oh, do you know that you posses every inch of me? That your name and your image haunts me Even in places most hostile to romance? The thoughts of you comprise my idle moments But even while at work, my brain screams for your name
<bleep> why exactly do you amuse me? Your unconventional ways of dealing with things Continues to capture all of my attention Your words and ideas are already etched in my heart That everytime I speak, I speak of nothing but you
Im not exactly sure what all of these things are about Or why I suddenly decided to document Every emotion that is rising within me I dont even know if this will reach you Or if any of these will make sense to you But <bleep> if there's one thing that you should know It is the fact that forever took a clear definition The very first moment you said 'hello...'
